In 2017, Schockemöhle stallions have set numerous new records: Our stallions Fürstenball, Vivaldi, Don Schufro, Bordeaux, Foundation, Vitalis, Sir Donnerhall I, Der Designer, Chacco-Blue and Diarado were amongst the leading group of all German stallions according to the German FN’s predicted breeding value statistics. Sandro Hit alone has sired two horses in the German Olympic dressage squad.

In 2015, stallions from Mühlen once again dominated the Oldenburg Elite Mare show in Rastede’s Schlosspark.  As in 2014, Fürstenball achieved an excellent double strike:  The three-year-old mare Fiesta Danza won the Brillantring of the Elite Broodmare Show, followed by Flora de Mariposa.  In the Brillantring of eleven mares, eight of them were daughters of our stallions, including Fürstenball (3), Totilas (2), Bordeaux, Bretton Woods, Sir Donnerhall I and Fürst Romancier.  In the State Championships of three-year-olds, Flora de Mariposa was then placed in front of Fiesta Danza.

Fürstenball reiterated his domination of the regional championship competitions for the three and four-year-old riding horses, not only in Rastede, but also in Münster and Verden.  As well as Fürsten-Look, who was the National Champion, there were more medal winners at the National German Championships as well as high placed finalists, including Fiesta Danza, Flora de Mariposa, Finett, Fior, Fürst Magic, Fürst von Soest and Feeling OLD.  In the riding horse classes alone, Fürstenball sired eight of the finalists! This has never been achieved before!

Our new stallion, Vitalis, also triumphed with the winner of the Westphalian Elite Broodmare Show, Vienna, and the German National Champion, Victoria’s Secret.

At the National German Championships, ten of the 23 five-year-old dressage finalists descended from stallions from Mühlen, as well as four of the 16 six-year-old finalists, including the Champion and later top price of the PSI auction, Fasine.  In her pedigree, Fasine goes back to stallions from our stud over five generations, and is the perfect example that good horses always result from good dam lines.

We were also very well represented with the show-jumpers.  In total, four of the ten possible national champion titles went to descendants of Schockemöhle stallions.  In the Netherlands, Bordeaux and Vivaldi produced the Young Horses Champions of the ridden horses.

As always, we will be more than happy to help you with the marketing of your breeding products, should it be via our much-visited P.S. Foal Market online, at the branding dates or through the AOS auction in Ankum, where the on-site service during the foal shows and branding dates for different associations here at Mühlen has been particularly successful on many occasions. Again, in 2015, the offspring of our stallions were particularly sought after, and often it is not only the descendants of the newcomers, but also the progeny of proven sires such as Balou du Rouet, Bordeaux, Diarado, Fürstenball, San Amour I, Sir Donnerhall I and Vivaldi, which are particularly demanded.

Whether it is concerning a young stallion or a proven sire, please feel free to address your questions to the trusted leaders of our stud farm, Christine Trompeter and Christoph Hinkel, masters in horse management, supported by their motivated team.
